Meet the Team
Emily is the Founder of Progression Partner and has a strong passion for helping others. With a business degree and graduate work, Emily spent 12 years in the corporate setting as an HR Generalist, with her most recent role as a Human Resources Director. She has worked in various industries including Manufacturing, Sales, Engineering, Healthcare, Retail and Hospitality. And obtained her Professional in Human Resources certification in 2007. Emily has been involved in and sat on two SHRM Chapter boards providing training and resources for local Human Resources Professionals.
Emily Marquis earned her Life Coaching certification through the internationally recognized program Circle of Life as well as the NAHU Wellness Certification for corporate employee wellness programs in 2011.
Originally from Massachusetts and many places in between, Emily now lives in Colorado with her family where they take full advantage of the lifestyle the outdoors provides including skiing, hiking, whitewater rafting, camping and family/friend picnics.
After departing from the corporate world, like many mothers, Emily struggled to find a balance between her professional career and family. Establishing Progression Partner, LLC has been a gift to be able to provide that balance while helping others in their career and personal life. Emily gives back to other professional Moms by offering them the same flexibility.
Karen Midolo received her B.A. in Communication Studies from Northeastern University. She has 10 years of experience in employee relations, labor relations, recruiting, training & development programs & employee benefits. After her son was born in 2015, she relocated from Southern California back to the northeast to be close to family.
She joined Progression Partner part-time in March of 2016 and has been responsible for sourcing sales and mechanical engineering professionals. In her spare time, Karen runs a book club and serves on the Recreation & Beach Commission in her hometown.
Alice Carter is a seasoned recruiter and has worked in a variety of industries for over 13 years with a passion to see companies succeed. She joined Progression Partner part-time in March 2016 and is excited to assist clients in their recruitment needs. She has been married to her husband since 2002 and they have 2 wonderful children.
Mandy Kane has over 13 years of experience in Human Resources and Recruiting and a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources Management. She has recruited for a wide variety of positions including sales, IT, accounting, administrative, and leadership roles in corporate, technical, non-profit, and small business environments. Mandy joined Progression Partner in November of 2016. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and sons, balancing weekends between sports fields and the Colorado mountains.
Amy has over 15 years of experience specializing in small to mid-size organizations. She spent 14 years working in corporate HR, specializing in employee benefits before moving into a consultant role. She obtained her Senior Professional in Human Resource certification in 2011 and has a passion for all things employee benefits. A native of Virginia, Amy currently lives in Colorado with her husband and two lively sons. They love the active lifestyle that being in Colorado provides and you can find them on the ski slope most weekends. Amy currently serves as the Vice President of the Board of Directors for Rocky Mountain Academy of Evergreen and enjoys spending time volunteering at her children’s school.
Candice Seng is an effective Recruiter with over 13 years in the Human Resources Industry, with emphasis on Recruiting. She has recruited for multi-locations and on a national basis, working primarily with small to mid-size companies. Her industry recruiting experience includes Sales, Banking, Finance, Real Estate/Title, Education, Home Health Care, and Design. Candice enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children, either outdoors or watching her kids’ sports. She also enjoys running, piano, golf, and volunteering with her kids’ sports teams and schools.
Heather McBroome is a career Human Resources and Workforce Strategy leader with more than 18 years of experience helping organizations build, develop, and manage talent. Heather has a Bachelor’s degree in Business concentrating in Human Resources, graduate work in Psychology, SPHR certification, multiple coaching certifications, and HR work in various industries for organizations of all sizes (including healthcare, technology, public accounting, and local government). After maintaining corporate director-level status in a $13 billion organization, Heather is excited about switching gears and offering her consulting services part-time at Progression Partner. Her specialty is in full employee life cycle HR support, change implementation, and engagement strategies. Heather is also a transformational and holistic health coach and loves helping people live healthy and happy lives. She lives with her husband in the mountains of Colorado and enjoys hiking and connecting with our natural environment.
